Hi. My 2009 DL650 has never had its throttle lubed at all, and never seemed to need it.
Recently, it revved up to about 5,000 rpm as I squeezed the clutch coming to a stop (I had let the throttle grip go). I manually returned it to idle. Now I find that if I hold the clutch at a stop and rev the throttle and let it go, it returns almost to idle, settling at 1,500 rpm rather than the normal 1,250. It also feels like it's binding as I accelerate from a stop.
What steps should I take to lubricate the things I ought to lubricate to deal with this?
