"Above 50 MPH" I am always 5 MPH over the indicated speed per my GPS.

 

With the 16 tooth front sprocket my 2012 is spot on with my gps.

 

and of course way off with a 14 tooth sprocket. then use speedo healer, gps or bicycle speedo. I use a speedo healer for speedometer. bicycle speedometer for accurate odo.

 

Unless those spoked wheels and corresponding tires are a different size I can''t see the 2015 "Adventure" model being any different in speedo readout. iirc my 2012 DL650 was about 7 or 8% optimistic. [Although that was for KM and I know the odo uses a slightly wrong conversion factor between miles and km but that wouldn't be the enough to notice.]

I've compared the speedo on my 2015 DL650AX EXP with my TomTom Rider 400 GPS.
Speedo: 55km/h = GPS: 50km/h
Speedo: 88 km/h = GPS: 80km/h
Speedo: 109 km/h = GPS: 100 km/h

 

Before I re-calibrated my 2015 DL650 with a SpeedoDRD, my speedometer was off by 8% from my GPS.

 

My 2012 was 7.1% off, after vacillating I also went with the SpeedoDRD. Thanks to those who posted help for explaining how to get the connector apart!
I didn't need to remove anything but the seat.
Wish I had done it sooner.

 

+ 8% stock gearing, within 2% with the +1 tooth.
However the odo is slow with the +1 sprocket... about 5%.

Mine is way off. If I'm set on 80 on I-90 people are still passing me.

 

2015 DL650XT purchased new 3 weeks ago.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I haven't checked mine with a GPS yet, but I looked for a thread on this because it seems like traffic is traveling 8-10 MPH faster when I commute on my bike vs. the car.

 

Speedo readout "high"

My '05 Wee was almost exactly 10% optimistic and I was wondering if anyone has checked out the '15 Glee with a GPS. My old GPS died and I haven't replaced it yet -

My '13 reads right at 5 MPH OVER at 55, 60 and 65 by GPS and thats with the 15/47 sprockets.

 

2012 650, about 6% over, varies a bit with rear tyre wear.
