If anyone is on the fence about ordering from Ravetech, here’s my experience. I ordered on 01 December, and received notice from DHL that delivery is expected by end of day today, 13 December. Not bad from Thailand, to Georgia USA.

I had to trim mine to fit the lower OEM cowling without rubbing. However, nobody else offers one that will fit the OEM cowling. And I know from experience this skid plates works after hitting some big rocks down there! It mounts to the frame and the lower engine case, and not on the engine case cover bolts.
I considered the mini plate for retaining OEM look and cowl compatibility, but ultimately purchased the full size Ravetech skid plate. Maybe it’s overkill, but I wanted a plate that attached to frame and crash bars only. Oil changes without plate removal is a nice bonus.
Either way, my purpose for the thread is primarily to inform folks regarding shipping times from Ravetech’s location in Thailand. From initial order to delivery on my door step: 12 days.
