INFO NEEDED: Bolt size for v-shaped engine mounting bracket 09 dl650

Hey everyone, This is a 2009 DL650A

Previous owner installed H&B crash bars, didn't give me the original bolts for the v-shaped engine mounting brackets the bars mount to.
I need to know what size these bolts are because I want to remove the crash bars and put it back to stock configuration.

I think they are 8mm bolts, but I need the length. Please tell me if anyone knows what bolts these are.


I have attached a photo of the engine mounting bracket and the bolts that I am talking about. (stock photo from the web)

They are M8x1.25 bolts, 30mm long. BTW, the service manual has the wrong torque spec for them. Use 16.9lb-ft, not 25.5lb-ft. Somebody read the 10mm bolt line on the chart instead of the 8mm bolt line and the error has survived since it was first made in 2004. The DL1000 uses the same bolts and that manual has the correct spec. Get hardened bolts. It's a high stress area.
