Has anyone tried or seen a Brakeaway cruise control? I just saw an ad in a magazine showing this product. There is also a video on their website www.brakeawayproducts.com. It looks pretty good. It appears to be high quality and releases when you use the front brake. I did a search on this forum with no results. The only drawback is the price, about $200. I guess a Vista control works as good for a lot less money, just wondering.

Probably the number one convenience farkle on my bike is the Audiovox cruise control. For around $100, it's a real throttle adjusting, speed maintaining, clutch or brake deactivated cruise control. A somewhat complex installation is the only negative.

I have the Kaoko cruise and at $110 it works great and you can't really even tell it is there. Looks like it came on the bike from the factory. They have gone up over the months. Got mine for under $100 some months back!

I spent $23.00 for the Vista Cruise throttle control for my Wee. It was easy to install, aside from having to remove the flange at the inboard end of the throttle sleeve and sand those low ridges off. It's simple and easy to use. The other units are good, I'm sure, but I just didn't care to spend the money on any of them.
