The sole just at the rear of one boot is pulling away from the boot on my Alpinestar shorties.
Asked a cobbler and he said they were vacuum formed and could not be re-attached
There is not a lot of wear
Looked to me like a simple glue job ...the sole is intact but pulling away about 1/4 of the length at the heel but shoe guy said he could not fix,
Boots are okay to ride and walk in but worried about the whole thing pulling away.
I can see the heel of the other boot doing it too but just where the wrap around sole attaches to the back of the boot.
Again should be easy to glue but not sure what to use as these are not leather soles. The sole at the back forms a cup to around the body of the boot.

Happy with the boot tho might get mid length next round but prefer to keep these going. Gotta think there is some compound I can put in there to seal the sole to the boot. TIA
