So I completely burnt my clutch trying to practice stop and goes. I learned exactly how much a clutch cannot take. I was being really mean to it.

In replacing the clutch I discovered that one plate is different than the others and goes on the inside with the shims inside it.

Proper new clutch operation restored I discovered that the neutral light and N doesn't appear any more.

Thoughts? Would something I did having it apart and back together a couple times cause the neutral sensor to go wonky?

Do a search about the neutral/gear switch. I recently read a thread on here that talked about the issue and about cleaning the switch. Apparently it's a common issue.
