i think this thread got hijacked. started out as APRILIA mirrors on the Strom and now it seems that everyone's looking at the ones with the lights in them. maybe everyone should state which mirrors they're talking about.

The mirrors look nice...

If the Bandit style replacement mirrors don't work out for me. I might look at these.

BB - I can see that happening. Not my pair yet but time will take it's toll I'm sure. I like the asthetic looks of the boot over stem.

Just ordered a set, from local dealer, $20 ea. :)

Installed my Piggio mirrors last night. Work great, lower and wider get's past the elbows. another benefit, they seem to have a light tint and since the mirror (reflective part) is shorter, when you ride away from the sun it doesn't reflect in your eyes until way later.

I love those. Seems to be the same mirror that come on the Benelli, which I had tried to get before I found the Triumph Speed Triple mirrors (same as on the Tiger) and fell in love with them. No Benelli dealers would even call me back with pricing, so I'm glad I don't own one of those. Wish I had thought to check Aprilia and gotten them, cause Wow they cost a lot less than the Triumph.

Thanks for sharing.

Well prolly done close to a 1000 miles with these mirrors. They do help with the buffeting b/c most of those miles have been done with the Powerlet windscreen and instead of the CaliSci that U see in the pic. and the buffeting is minimal until around 80 (GPS) and buffeting at that speed is expected (by me anyway). Very happy with these for the vison that they provide, the down trade is that the noise has risen dramatically. The wind that was hitting me in the side of the helmet and causing a turbelence is now hitting me in the left shoulder and creating a large thumping sound coming in under the helmet. I have a RSV Shark coming in the mail and we will see how that works. So far have ridden this set up with my Shoei Hornet and Arai Corsair and both were quit noisy. Lets see how the Shark does.

Price was $18.89 each, before my 10% discount because I saw the wholesale price of $8.31.

No it is not causing the jiggling of the eyeballs like the stock shield (even with madstad) and stock mirrors does. Its just a lot of wind noise.
