No doubt, we were just through there a couple years ago.
Is that north or south of alt89 cutoff?

North of the alt 89 cutoff. The alt route will surely be packed with traffic this spring/summer. Jacob's Lake locals will be loving that, I'm sure.

I'll be sure to avoid that route the next few years. The Jacob Lake store, gas station and restaurant better be well stocked.

Too bad they don't indicate a mile marker. Then we could goggle-ate it.

Looks like a little south of MM 527
Maybe 3 miles north of the 89A - 89 split. 22 miles south of Page.
There is a pull over with Native American booths selling trinkets north of the affected area.

They closed mileposts 523-546, which is essentially the whole section between the 89/89A junction and Page. From what I understand, the slide area is a couple miles north of the junction.

Details here.

If one were in the neighborhood it'd be fun to go see the damage/rebuild but they probably close it off at the junction ends. Keeps the riff-raff out.
Shades of the Pacific coast line!

The damaged is just after the gap on the down grade to the split to 89A.
