Thanks for the wild turkey warning on hwy35/skyline in the Santa Cruz mtns

Yesterday a fellow 'strom rider helmet-tapped me as I was headed north on 35 (about 2pm).

Slowed down a bit, and a few corners later there were wild turkeys all over the road. Thanks! I was on the grey Wee with HIDs.. wearing a white helmet and grey 'stich.

Are we talking turkey turkeys or turkeys as a euphemism for something else?

I've had them fly over my head on occasion.

It's pretty sobering (not that I wasn't at the time) when you consider what it would be like to have one in your lap at speed.
