Five miles of Heaven!

Last weekend, I took a new way home from the desert.

From I-70 in Utah, I headed up Miller Canyon, North towards Emery. This is Exit 99. A sign on the road says it's 9.2 miles in it's entirety. Google Maps identifies the road as County Road 912.

This road is a dream! It has lots of twisties through some very beautiful desert. The good part is only five miles long. My view of heaven is a canyon like this that goes on forever, a bike that never runs out of gas, and a butt that never starts hurting!

If you are in the area, I recommend taking a detour to experience this wonderful road.

No pics, sorry. My camera was in my pocket when I jumped into the San Rafael River.

As I've told you many times before, the journey is the destination. So to answer your question: Yes, we are there.
