I'm new to the forum here, and in the Bay Area... any rides scheduled around here?

The Bay Area is a pretty big place. Head over to Barf (Bay Area Riders Forum). There are always rides posted up and it's a great community. I can clue you into some Northbay rides.

Some of the Strom socializing is like herding cats. All too independent.
But you offer them a little box and they can come out of the woodwork!

Try going to Meetup.com.. there are lots of motorcycle groups. There are multiple rides every weekend. I have a group there too called NorCal Fastfar Riders. We do mostly multi-day rides. There are a bunch of adventure bike riders.
