AZ Day Trip Suggestions

Plain and simple. Looking for some advice on fun day trips from the Phoenix area. A couple of hours to all day rides, any and all are appreciated. Looking for riding buddies as well!

87, 88, and 188 are nice roads. I just rode 60 and 70 last week on my way to Fort Worth. Lots of Crusiers on 60 though, seemed like lots of folks ride to Superior for lunch. We were riding from Blythe Ca to Las Cruces NM that day. Loved all the small mining towns on both

Not a day ride, but the 191 between Alpine and Clifton is a fantastic road!
The 89A around Sedona, Cottonwood, and Jerome is a very nice road.

The Apache Trail was one of my favorites when I was still living in Tempe. Links AJ with Roosevelt. Its mostly paved now but still has some dirt sections if your interested. I think revzilla just did a ride report on it...

Yup they did, can't post links yet but check out the 4th page of articles in the common tread area of there website.

There are also a lot of good roads west of town in the Goodyear area, no one seems to go west for some reason. Couldn't give you any names though, most of my riding out there was aimless wanderings.
