A long shot in New Mexico

Hi guys
On the road travelling towards Las Cruces, Alamogordo then Silver City, NM. Need to fit a new chain that I have with me. Wouldn't be anybody in the vicinity with an angle grinder and a chain breaker I could borrow? This is a long shot! (Two lost Aussies)

There is the Suzuki dealer in Alamogordo that was recommended in your Texas thread. Hope you get it fixed.

Damn, I just saw this. I would have brought the tools to you and swapped stories about the Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair hike while we were fixing it.

I hope you got it straightened out and had a good visit. When I was in Hobart for 5 months a number of years ago and people asked me what New Mexico was like, I would describe it as the Tasmania of the US. Remember, pretty much everything New Mexicans know about Tassie is the Tasmanian Devil from Warner Bros cartoons which, ironically, is hte same about what Tassies know about New Mexicans (Bugs Bunny making a wrong turn in Albuquerque).
