Place to park VStrom in Marin County

Hello Stromtroopers.
I am riding to Cal in July and would like to find a safe secure place to park my WeeStrom as near to Sausalito or SF as I can. It would only be for about 4 days. I will be hiking in the area. Would prefer a private place but would consider a commercial place if one existed.
Thanks

Looking for a place to leave VStrom for 3 days

I am going to be in San Francisco area in July, 2013 and I want to find a safe place to leave the VStrom for 3 days. Any ideas?

San Fransisco is a pretty small place, with very hard to find parking. Salsilito would be your best bet to look at..

I found this off their site..

Overnight parking IS allowed in Municipal Parking Lots #1-#4. So if you are planning to take the ferry into San Francisco and spending the night, you can park your car in one of the downtown lots and pay for your parking remotely using a credit card. Regular lot rates apply.

NOTE: You may pay in advance for up to 3 days when you use the Parkmobile service and park in Lot #4 (Zone #924) at the regular rate of $5.00 per day. Pre-payment for multiple days works only for Lot #4.

City of Sausalito : Parking for Visitors

Hopefully that helps.

Not enough hours in the day for riding
