Burr Trail

Wife and I rode the Burr Trail a few years ago, we stopped as the pavement stopped. Jude was not ready for dirt roads, now I can't get her to stay on pavement

She would like to get some information about the dirt part of the Burr Trail. Online photo's make a certain section look unfriendly.

Thanks

I need to go visit tom so I can get my seat, I'll ask him then. As for a July ride, we'll see what's up with my employment status.

Rode it 2 years ago with my brother-in-law. One of the most beautiful and memorable rides I have been on. Scenic views throughout.

What is your definition of "unfriendly?"

For a beginner - tad steep and not user friendly for a newbie on a dl650 fully loaded and tanked up. Don't want to say how young the wife is, but I'm 50 if that helps you a little I'd be fine on the road, just don't want the wife to get injured.

I'm sure that it is better than Camp Hollow that we did last summer.
A little more sand, if you fall down id doesn't hurt as bad.
