you hit the stop sign at the Post Office in Julian (Hwy78). Turn left,
cruise down to the next stop sign at the Town Hall. Go straight for 2

What a great idea! I would love to make it, but it's quite a ride from Indiana.

SoCal VStrom Tech day

Man, I wish I could make it, sounds fun. I checked out your map and my gal sitting next to me who lived in Long Beach told me I don't envy anyone trying to get out of that particular area with the traffic situations there. She still remembers getting up at 4 in the am to beat the traffic to get out of town. She's always on my case cuz I think it's too congested here in N Idaho. Oh well, maybe I could arrange a tech day up here and invite all 3 DL owners in the entire area. Wouldn't be much of a party though. Ride safe.

Ahh, it's not so bad -- when you live here you quickly learn how to deal with it (traffic) -- I commute everyday riding my KLR 650 to and from work, and IMHO, it's both quicker and safer than driving a car

As far as the ride goes, we'll be hitting the slabs early on a Sunday morning -- most folks here in LA don't get outtta bed on the weekends till midday  -- and for the ride back, I've specifically chosen roads less travelled by cagers

It'll be a great day

Cheers

Great day

For those who couldn't attend, I posted a few pictures here

This turned out to be a really great day - I learned alot, met up with friends, old and new, ate some great food, and had a wonderful ride, both there and back.

These bikes are great and so are the people who ride them

Looking forward to the next organized get together

Cheers
