Engine Cutting out at High Throttle
I just got back from a week long ride on my DL 1000 and noticed that my engine was cutting out at high throttle settings. Often I'd drop down to fourth or third gear and pull out to pass when the engine would die. Once I backed the throttle off, the engine would pull fine. It doesn't seem to be RPM based, because I could get to higher revs by using less throttle.
I've never had this trouble before and the only thing I've done to the bike is balanced the throttle bodies and adjusted the TPS sensor.
Could adjusting the TPS sensor give this result?
Could a weak TPS cause this?
Could it be the Secondary TPS giving me grief?
It was really annoying during my trip and seemed to get progressively worse. It's to the point now where I can't roll on the throttle from 75 mph in top gear without losing power. Again, once I back off, power will come up.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
