Engine Cutting out at High Throttle

I just got back from a week long ride on my DL 1000 and noticed that my engine was cutting out at high throttle settings. Often I'd drop down to fourth or third gear and pull out to pass when the engine would die. Once I backed the throttle off, the engine would pull fine. It doesn't seem to be RPM based, because I could get to higher revs by using less throttle.

I've never had this trouble before and the only thing I've done to the bike is balanced the throttle bodies and adjusted the TPS sensor.

Could adjusting the TPS sensor give this result?
Could a weak TPS cause this?
Could it be the Secondary TPS giving me grief?

It was really annoying during my trip and seemed to get progressively worse. It's to the point now where I can't roll on the throttle from 75 mph in top gear without losing power. Again, once I back off, power will come up.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Al

My first thought is a clogged high pressure fuel filter. It's not uncommon. Do the test. Fuel flow check

If that's a problem you can do a bypass. External Fuel Filter modification or replace an expensive part.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Had the same prob with my Wee a couple of years ago. Performed the fuel filter modification and cured my problem.

Cheers!
