Crap coolant hosing

Hi All,

I've finally persuaded my dealer to take on board a warranty claim and they are going to swap both the side engine covers due to excessive corrosion. Since the claim I've noticed WHY the paint has been flaking off. There has been a slight coolant leak from a bigish hose which sits under the petrol tank on the left hand side. I've tried tweaking up the jubalee clips to no avail. The smell of stale cat p1ss being boiled is driving me nuts!

Is this a common problem on these bikes and whats the fix?

Yep. Happened on mine. They had to replace the thermostat coupling and the hoses to get it to stop. Suzuki covered it on warranty, no problem.
