3M film on headlights.....

I admit defeat...I can maintain a Vincent, but putting 3M film on the headlights
of my strom is beyond me..the headlights are complex curves-the film can stretch, but it cannot shrink, and it apparently needs to...How is the film put on the headlights??????

Why Motorcycles? Because Golf, Soccer, Football and Baseball only require One Ball

I don't know how he did it, but I got our installer to do it for me when I got the bike (almost 5 years ago.)

My Opinion:
Vee or V= DL1000 before 2014
Vee2 or V2 = DL1000 2015 to 2019
Vee3 or V3 = DL1050 2020 to?

My Stroms:
2006 DL650: 202,000 km 125,500 miles, Sold
2012 DL650 139,500+ km, 86,700+ miles. Sold
2015 DL1000 New July 2015 205,000+ km, 127,000+ miles.

This can help preventing from cars pulling out in front of you (SMIDSY)

You shrink the film with heat.. hair drier may not work... we actually use propane torches when putting the film on the noses or the race cars... a quick sweep from a torch will do wonders.

I think a few tips can be found on the TankSlapper site for installing the 3M product over tight contours.
Using the soft side of velcro over the squeegee helped a lot when installing my tank film.
