Broken Wire to STVA Coupler

I broke a wire removing this coupler.

Is it a type that I can take apart and get a new wire into it to splice.

Advice greatly appreciated.

It looks like the yellow part might be removable to get at the tangs of the connectors. If nobody comes forth with a good answer, check with Jim Davis of Eastern Beaver. [email protected]

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Good suggestion. I just came back in from the bike and said the same thing to my wife. I will send Jim an e-mail. I have purchased many items from him. If it cant be fixed he will probably have one.

Fixed

I managed to get the coupler apart and spade out. Had another spade that was close enough to work. Jim at Eastern Beaver has the coupler so in my next order (there have been many) I will get a spare in the event this does not hold.

Now it is back to finishing the thin strom conversion to the DL Adventure model.
