Wire under the seat, stock or not?

Read the manual and searched the site to the best of my ability.
I found a wire coiled under the tail section and wasn't sure what it is. Maybe wiring for a lit top case/trunk?
Maybe it's factory? Anybody know?

Thanks mcdstrom! Now I just have to find something to hook up to it. Maybe my Unigo trailer?

Y'all are awesome!

It's one of the many great ideas Jim Davis has come up with. I use mine to connect my Hyperlites and the light on my Bestem trunk. Much easier to work with than trying to splice into the actual bike wires and makes it easy to transfer things like hyperlights to a new bike (as I'll soon be doing) and leave no damage to the old bike's wiring.
