Are my new brake lines long enough?

Just installed some new braided lines all around. My question is that the front ones do not have a lot of extra slack. I had the spouse sit on the bikes back seat while it was on the center stand. The front wheel was completely off the ground and there was still a little slack left in the lines. Would the front wheel ever be extended more than this amount? I just started riding some unpaved back roads and I don't want the front tire to go down in a hole a rip off the brake lines. So my question really is: Is the front tire at maximum extension when the front tire is off of the ground?

Thanks in advance for your input.

yes and no

yes - that's all the extension it will get mid air, but sometimes it will rebound hard from the energy store in it during the big compression.

so it would extent another 5-10mm (i am guessing the figure here) by compressing the top out spring.

Thanks for the reply. I have 2" risers on the bike and I don't want to take any chances with the brakes. I have ordered up a set of +2" Galfer lines from Blair at SV Racing. I'll be posting these in the For Sale listings when the new lines arrive. Maybe someone without risers would like to upgrade their lines.
