I could use a lift...for the bike
Hey folks, Merry Christmas
I recently bought a little garage model motorcycle lift made by Larin. It works perfectly on my DRZ, supporting the frame is easy. Weight rating is 1500 pounds or so, so it has plenty of capacity. It has a couple of 2" wide parallel bars that are 11" apart that serve as the lifting platform. One bar would be placed under hard points where the center stand attaches. The other would be under the motor around the oil drain plug.
I would like to use it on my DL100, but the bottom of the bike isn't flat, and the exhaust is vulnerable as well. Seems that I might have to make an adaptor to accommodate the contours under the bike- which I can do. Has anyone done this? Any concerns about damage to the bottom of the bike? What say you?
