Throttle sticking a little when cold - LF lub question

Hello,

I'm riding a 07' 650 which I have shipped over to Europe from Canada (currently residing in Switzerland). Among other problems that I will get to soon, my throttle has been sticking a little, especially when it's cold and I haven't ridden for a few days. Not reeving up, just sticking where I leave it, and generally being a little less responsive when I move off throttle.

I don't think it's anything major, probably just a question of lubrication, but does anyone have further insight, or lubrication instructions? Thanks! Tom

Thanks, do you have any specific instructions for the lube process?

I'd check to make sure the cables, both pull and return cable, springs, etc are not disconnected, or otherwise being interfered with, if not, then, imho, replace the offending cable,

Check the cable adjustment. If the return cable is too tight, it'll stick exactly like you describe.

It is always a good idea to remove the throttle sleeve, clean everything, and lube with a dry lube like dry graphite powder.
