Trick to remove fuse box?

Just bought an Ivan's TRE and must remove the fuse box from the battery holder to connect it to the ECM. My service manual doesn't say anything about how to do that. It's hooked on firmly; seems there must be a trick to unhooking it.

What's the trick?

Thanks.

What is the bike year and model?

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Sorry, forgot to write a sig. It's a 2003 DL1000.

As Emily Litella would say, "...never mind." I tried the old wisdom: "If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough."

I've only had the bike for two weeks and am extra cautious about not breaking anything if there is a special way things are attached.

Vaseline and a bigger hammer are mechanics friends, huh. It's sometimes hard to tell if there is a trick to know or if more force is needed. There are plenty of broken plastic rivets from fairing removal that came before the knowledge of pushing in the center. Only loosen the screw that holds the bar end weights. Don't remove it. Lift a catch on the turn signal connectors to separate them. Maybe we need a list.

After looking up the model in the parts list, I found mine attaches the same way. I wanted to get the flasher unit off which is the same module. I asked the same question and got the answer that there is no trick. A little silicone lube that doesn't attack rubber helped a bit.

Thanks. The new TRE is installed, but I was too busy today to try it out yet. Will report tomorrow.
