Rear wheel removal and installation with ABS

I just removed and then reinstalled the rear wheel on my DL650 with ABS, to repair a flat.

Prior to slipping the axle out to drop the wheel, remove the ABS sensor located at the back of the caliper assembly. A 12mm wrench is all that's needed.

The sensor sticks out just enough to possibly get damaged, and it gets in the way of a simple reinstallation of the wheel.

This may have been mentioned a dozen times already, but maybe not. I only went looking for information after I completed the work (usual practice). I didn't find this hint in Skinnifatkid's excellent "Everything Related to Tires (Wheel Removal, Repairs, DIY, Etc... " thread in the General V-Strom Discussion forum.
