throttle body sync

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what brand/where to buy for a manometer/vacuum gauge to do the throttle body sync on an 06 Wee?
I have heard that as long as it will accurately read around 12-18" hg, that it should work? Does that sound reasonable?
Is this something that I could get at AutoZone/OReilly's? Or, Sears, etc?

I'd like to get an accurate one, preferrably without having to take out a loan to do it.
thanks...

+1 on the Mulletometer, made it with stuff lying around in the workshop and a couple bucks worth of 5/16" tubing from Home depot. Works like a charm.
I told my 19 yr. old daughter I was making a bong when she asked what it was.
Response: I'm telling mom!

That is a good looking manometer in the pic.

One thing to keep in mind that the height of the legs must relate to the specific gravity of the fluid. 30" of mercury equals 33' of water (each is one atmosphere). The special manometer fluids are high specific gravity, therefore the legs can be short. Water, ATF, etc., with low specific gravity must have longer legs.

TMA, too many abbreviations. I was about to post that water is nowhere near as dense as mercury when I realized that was 30 inches of mercury and 33 feet of water.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
