Repair ideas for dent in gas tank

Hi Y'all,

The day after doing my first bike drop (in soft sand and sacrficing my left front turn signal) I parked my bike at the local CrappyTire. When I get out, someone has clobbered the tank with their door, leaving a nice big dent on the tank. I was far more pissed off with that then the dropping the bike...

I have never had to deal with a dented tank before... can this be repaired easily or is this a major deal?

Don't let ANYONE tell you that they can pop it out with air pressure. It'll ruin your tank faster than anything. It spreads the tank apart down the middle and it won't fit on your bike afterwards.
