Rear Brake Pad Removal

I have pulled the caliper but, I can not get the "pin" with the slotted head to loosen allowing the pads to be removed. Any tips outside oil penertaring fluid and taps with a hammer?

The "Slotted Head" is a small cap over the pin. It should just unscrew allowing the pin to be accessed. If not penetrating oil is probably your best choice.

+1 IIRC, I used a large, square-shank screwdriver encouraged by an adjustable wrench on the shank.
