lube on front cliper pns
There are slide pins on the calipers that get high temp brake grease but they will cause uneven brake pad wear if dry, not what you are feeling.
Okay - I took my calipers apart to lube them with silicone brake grease - and to my amazement I discovered that on one of the pins in each pair - the rubber gasket thingy is really a bushing as it passes all they way through the receiving hole that the pin goes in to. And its shown this way in the manual. What a surprise. So you betcha you need grease - a dry pin will not slide over rubber.
