Front Brake Lever Lubrication?

The front brakes on my Wee appears to need some lubrication. So, do I simply lubricate the lever pivot or is there something in the master cylinder linkage that needs lubing too?

Once I get the lever compressed more than 50% of travel, it seems to get a bit "catchy" . . .

Just the pivot at the lever. There are slide pins on the calipers that get high temp brake grease but they will cause uneven brake pad wear if dry, not what you are feeling.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Excellent, a five minute process . . . once I locate the lube.

Okay - I took my calipers apart to lube them with silicone brake grease - and to my amazement I discovered that on one of the pins in each pair - the rubber gasket thingy is really a bushing as it passes all they way through the receiving hole that the pin goes in to. And its shown this way in the manual. What a surprise. So you betcha you need grease - a dry pin will not slide over rubber.
