Clutch Problem - Need Help

I was changing my oil last night and noticed some scuffs/gouges on what i believe to be the clutch basket. Im very mech inclined. I've been into engines and car transmissions, but not too in depth with motorcycle clutches so my terminology is prob off. What are these gouges from? This picture is looking through the oil filler hole.
I have 2000 miles on my 2016 DL1000.

The second pic is good. I couldn't see the actual marks in the first one or the one you e-mailed to me.

Nothing at all to worry about. This is simply casting/manufacturing marks on the basket. I have seen them on new baskets I take out of the box for modifications. If that bothers you, don't look at the basket a little further in toward the engine. They have some of the most awful casting or grinding marks on them you can imagine!

But they work just fine. No worries!

How big a job is it to remove and refit the clutch basket on a 2015 DL1000?

The 2104 and newer DL 1000 has a different inner hub assembly. But otherwise it is the same process as all DL 1000 and SV 1000. I tell customers to allow 2-3 hours start to finish. Draining the coolant and refilling the coolant are the two most time consuming tasks. For the most part standard metric tools are needed. But you should use a clutch hub holding tool to hold the basket/hub in place when removing the hub to transmission shaft nut. That nut requires a 30mm socket.
