Haynes Manual

I've just got my new DL 1000 K6.
Does the current Haynes Manual for the models '97 to '04 cover my bike?
I want to add in a Blue Sea System fuse box which I see most people using so I can add in my Starcom 1 along with my GPS.

Any tips on where to tap into the electrics on the bike?

Go off the battery to a relay. Any orange or orange/white wire is keyed power so use that to activate the relay.

You missed my point  I know you have a 2006 DL1000 but you asked about a manual for a 1997 thru 2004 model & my comment is the DL1000 wasn't available in 97. So what was the manual that you were looking at for :?:

NightWolf, it's the TL1000S & TL1000R as well as the DL1000.

I know the DL1000 is derived from the TL1000 but I wouldn't have believed the repair manual would work for all :?: Am I missing something else :?:

Maybe a picture would at least prove we're not making this up:

Thanks 8) I wouldn't have believed it without seeing it myself. I realize the motor is similar, but I didn't think there was enough crossover to make it doable. I guess it is easier than creating a totally new book for the Strom, yet still allowing those who have the TL a service book too.
