Idle adjustment with PC3

Hey folks,

On my way to sync throttle bodies and adjusting idle on my 05 dl1000 . My idle was pretty low close to 1k so I increased it to 1300. I immediately noticed that in traffic lights and stops the bike would idle way higher close to 2k. So I reduced the idle a bit. Now I sense that at low revs in 1st and 2nd the revs are slow to come down during stops.

My question is do I mess with the PC map after I adjust the idle?

And do I have to do the TB sync and idle adjustment at the same time? Hope to do it this weekend anyways.

Thanks!

Anyways I went ahead and didt the tps and tbsp sync. It definitely breathes well but I feel there is still some rev hang .

Sounds like you have managed to resolve the idle issue, that you wrote about. Sorry, I'm out of my depths, when it comes to Power Commanders. I suggest that you perhaps contact Blair of SV Racing or someone like realshelby who have expertise in this regard and ask advice or for new map for the PC3.

Garage
You may want to make sure you have an appropriate map for your specific conditions.
