Dupont Teflon Chain-Saver Lube

We're familiar with the regular Dupont Multi-use lube but this seems to be a new product. Sounds like a great chain lube but I haven't been able to find an online vendor yet.

I am pretty sure that Lowe's carries it, at least they did last summer when I was down in the US.

Clearly the two most highly regarded chain lubes on this forum are the DuPont Teflon multi-use and the Belray. My question is, are these products available for purchase in Canada (I mean over the counter, not over the web)? I am curious to try particularly the DuPont. I am not far from the border but it seems like an effort for a can of chain lube, plus it's nice to support the local bike shop/hardware store.

The Belray is available from most any Cdn bike shop. Lowe's only has stores in Ontario to the best of my knowledge, and they apparently do carry the Teflon Multi-Use product.

I checked at my local Lowe's and they didn't have it. They had a rack with all kinds of lubes in the hardware section but Dupont multi-use. I doubt they will carry the chain-saver lube.

I bought the Chain Saver at an Ace Hardware last year when my local Lowes was out of the standard lube.

Lowes carries both the aerosol and squeeze bottle versions (at least the one in Brantford ON did, last I was there).

Here's a place. http://www.agindustrialsupply.com/(S...rce=GoogleBase If you buy six cans, you pay the same shipping as you would for one can. It works out to about $6.68 per can for me in VT.

Thanks for the link. I have been using the Dupont multi-use but I noticed a few rust spots on my chain after a few weeks. I like that it doesn't fling and it seems the Chain-saver provides a bit wetter lubrication.

Has anyone used this yet?

There's a review on webbikeworld.
