2005 V Strom DL1000 plastic piece attached to front of fuel tank

I am now the proud owner of my first V Strom, a 2005 DL1000! I noticed there is a plastic cover missing from the front of the gas tank. I have searched the internet trying to find a new one with no luck, mainly because I don't know what that piece is called. Can anyone help?

Could it be "COVER, FRONT (BLACK)", part number 44171-06G10-291? About $18.39 from Ron Ayers, plus any OEM parts house. And, of course, your local dealer too.

It's shown under "Front Bracket" fiche, if I have the right part.

That would be #1 here. For postable fiche pictures, I use Carol Stream, Wheaton, Glendale Heights, Chicago, Illinois, Suzuki, Motorcycle, Scooter, ATV, Dealer, Used, Financing, Parts, Service and for part numbers, I use https://www.mrcycles.com/oemparts/c/...torcycle/parts

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

It's 44171-06G10-291. 44171-06G00-YZ5 is for the 2002-2003 models.

I stand corrected, I figured I typed 2005 that it would give me part number for 2005, what was I thinking. And it's cheaper too, that's a win win!

A lot of the time, older parts are included in the newer fiche with the models indicated by Suzuki's letter code.

What does the 'K' or "L" mean in my bikes designation?
