Lost My Retainer

A real Noob mistake! Between my wife and myself, we chew up tires. So, a few years ago I went in with some friends and bought a professional tire changer so we could all save money changing shoes on the bikes. My friend has a barn so we keep it there. That means transporting my wheels to his place to do the job. I left the rear wheel retainer in the wheel, and lost it in transport! Could have been anywhere! He looked around his place for it to no avail.
No riding for me this weekend I guess! Don't make this mistake because it will cost you about $20 and a few days to replace the part! Maybe I can ask my wife to let me ride bitch!

That's what Suzuki calls the #15 spacer. Make sure it goes back in with the big end toward the sprocket and the small end toward the wheel.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
