Bolt size for K9 luggage rack

Hi everyone
I just purchased a new to me K9 DL650. Can anyone tell me the stock OEM bolt size to attach the luggage rack to the rear frame. The bike had a passenger back rest with longer bolts because of the extra distance this created. I swapped this over to my old K5 DL650 and used the long bolts from the K9. It installed fine but the shorter bolts from my K5 now don't want to work in the newer bike. I'm hoping having new bolts will work in case mine are cross-threaded some how.

There is no difference between the K5 and K9 stock luggage rack or what Suzuki calls a carrier. I don't know why you're having bolt length issues. The stock bolts are all M8x35.

See this link for all the models using the same bolts. 09103-08391 BOLT $1.69

2005 (K5) and 2009 (K9) carrier bolts are both included in the list.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
