TPS Tamper Proof Torx Screws

Went to do a TPS /TBS Today.. I cant find the little set of tamper proof torx bits I bought last year. DAMN IT ! I looked everywhere.

Cant go to the store to get another set.. it's Thanksgiving Day. Everyone is closed (I called 4 places)

Crap, I have to wait till tomorrow.

Q: Has anyone considered replacing these tamper proof bastards with regular Allen Heads ?? It sure makes sense to me..

I'll tell you what I find after I return from Ace Hardware tomorrow..

Hey Suzuki ! I'll tamper with whatever I want, you crazy little JAPS !

Happy Thanksgiving !

I don' need no steenking 'tamper proofs'!

Usually what I'll do is use a regular torx after taking a drift and hammering them irritating little pins flat.

Nothing more than another blow for the DIY'ers out there...

I wish I read this thread sooner because I would have known those damn torx screws where the tamperproof ones :x . After I found those little bastards I spent hours (to no avail) searching for someone who carries the bits. I finally gave up and ordered the “special” Suzuki tool for $6. I hope it gets in by next weekend.

The local Ace Hardware store was where I found mine. Handy set to have around.
