Headlights gone

Guys I need help ASAP. Supposed to leave on a trip in 4 hours and I have no headlights.

I have read all the threads on the forum about this problem.

Fuses good
Checked connections behind the cowling and behind radiator
Check high low switch
Checked starter button

Right now, the fuse block for high and low beam fuses is getting no juice

Funning thing is...last night when I disconnected the connector behind the radiator, the lights came on. Then started to put the airbox back on and lost them again and haven't gotten them back.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Only a DC plug for charging the phone.....but it comes straight from the battery.

My concern is that there is no charge to the high and low beam fuses.

What should I check before that?

By far, the most common problem is the starter button switch. If the contacts there are not made, the power won't make it to the fuses. Check the Y/W wire coming off the right handlebar switch. If it is hot, the next most likely places are the connections behind the radiator shroud. Two will have Y/W wires. They need to be hot on both sides of each connector. Problems like this are why I keep telling people to install headlight relays before connections and contacts go bad.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.

A poor connection in this area?
