Swap a Dl650 seat for a DL1000 anyone............in the UK

I understand from postings I've read that the seats on the 2 models are interchangable.

i'm 6'4" and could do with a little more leg room. are there any shorter
people out there who would appreciate a lower saddle on their DL1000 ?

Alternatively does anyone have suggestions how to raise the seat height without destroying the existing seat.

Thanks

CRC

I added 1" of memory foam on my DL650 front seat section. It takes an 18" long X 20" wide piece. Use 3/8" staples to re-staple the seat cover. The cover will stretch back over just fine. Fits your rear like a glove and gives more leg room.

I used Nu-Foam on my XR650L rear seat section. It is more dense than memory foam.
