Side Cowling K2 and K3 comparison

hi,

i am trying to get a particular part namely Side Cowling (K3) 94403-
06G00-YBA Cowl assy side LH (blue).

but couldn't find this part online. but base on online information
it seems that it could be 94403-06G00-Y7H. but this part refers to
K2 model.

so my question is :

1. is the two part no. refers to the same part ? is the part same in
structure for K2 and K3?
2. is the blue colour for K2 and K3 the same ?
3. anybody wants to sell his/her K3 side cowling assy LH (blue) ?

appreciate any response.

thanks.

regards,

ks

Hi there! Not sure if this is any help for you, but this link is the parts catalogue for the K2 K3 and K4 Stroms. maybe it will help!

http://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/PDFs/VStromParts.pdf

Its a 10mb .pdf file so it might take a while to open!

Re: parts catalogue

hi dave,

i got the microfiches from there. those parts (for a blue K3) that i want are indicated inside. the problem is that, US online shops do not have those parts.

some members from the forum have already told me that the parts that i want are not available because US market do not have blue K3. US Suzuki only sell yellow and silver K3.

looks like the next time i buy a bike, i should make sure that US markets also sells them. it is so convenient buying from these online shops.

thanks again for your input.

regards,

koh

Was any other colour necessary for a DL1000? If you're going to ride a vtwin V-Strom, what's the point of being subtle?

actually with a such an awesome headlights, it is difficult to make it subtle.

btw the way, the blue is a highly reflective and rich blue. it is an awesome colour too, IMHO.
