Stickered

I went out to a Christmas party this weekend and parked my bike on the street. There was no indication that the little cranny I chose to leave my bike in was against the rules. However, when I came out, there was a big, ugly orange sticker on my windshield. You know the type... "Warning! You're a bad person and if you continue to be a bad person we'll be bad back to you."

Anyway, I'm now faced with a dilemma... how do I get the sticker off that fragile windshield without damaging it? I'm planning on investing in a Givi replacement, but won't be able to do that until well after the holidays.

Any ideas?

I've had good luck by soaking stickers with WD-40.

I have heard that mayonase will do the trick....the key is to let it soak for quite a while. The oils in it will soak through the paper and loosen the glue. Good luck! I would be really upset if someone did that to mine

Leave it on there.... Makes you look like a Rebel

or

go back there at night, hide in the bushes in Ninja Mode.
watch the street see who comes along.
When the Phuck who stickers the cars and bikes comes by

Jump Out and
BEAT HIM INTO A BLODDY PULP
then
take all his stickers and stick them all over his body
on the hairy parts.. chest, legs etc

What a bastard !

Maybe I should mention that the sticker was put on there by the cops. I suppose it's better than a parking ticket, but it's a pain to try to get it off. I have to go to the hardware store this week for some Goo Gone and/or WD40, etc.

I'll see if I can get it off this weekend.

Besides... I'm not very good at "Ninja Mode" -

well if it was the Fuzz who stickered you... maybe my ninja tactics are not the way to go......

you could try a Lo tech approch....

take off the windshield and soak it a tub or sink overnight (or longer) in hot soapy water..... see what happens...

Geeeeez we got Killers, Rapists and theives running around the countryside and what are the cops focusing on....

Putting stickers on the motorcycles of law abiding tax payers...

Dont get me started

stickered

Might try to heat it up good with the hair dryer and see what will peel off and then attack the remains with goo gone.

hair dryer

Yes, the hair dryer is the number one enemy of good and bad stickers alike.

WD-40 with a very soft cloth will wipe up the remaining goo. No worries!

I guess it's better to bend a valve in Missoula than to lose your mind in Bozeman.

1) Fill tub with hot water.

2) Throw in 2 cans of WD40.

3) Plaace windshield in tub.

4) Plug in hair dryer and toss into TUB!!!!!

That was a joke so don't try it
