Running wires for temp control mount for Gerbing clothing

I am about to install the Gerbing temp control mount sometime tomorow (Friday, Sept 17th 2004), and I am wondering how the wires can be attached under the fairing ( I plan on mounting the controls on the left side on the black plastic flat area on the far left).

I might be able to figure out how the wires will attach, but not sure if I will be able to twist-tie the wires to other stuff that is there, or do I need some other method: electrical tape (will not last or do the job well), or superglue the wire to the frame (?), kitchen caulk the wire to the frame?

I have a V-Strom 650 if this helps.

I think you are over complicating the process. I just attach the wiring harness they provide to the battery. I let the power receptical stick out under the seat, just in front of where my leg falls when I sit on the bike. Very easy to reach down and plug in or unplug while sitting on the bike. The thermostat cord gets attached to my riding jacket via the belt clip. No need to permanently mount anything - and it works quite well.

I have the permanent mount that Gerbing sells ( meant to be permanently mounted on the control area of the bike ). The shop where I bought the Gerbing setup told me to mount the controls on the front of the bike to the left of the speedometer. So I have to drill 4 holes ( dual controls & 2 led readout lights to mount the controls.

I was wondering how to attach the wire that needs to run under the fairing and then under the small black piece that runs from the fairing to the seat.

It looks like there might be some points where I can twist-tie the wire and run it through to under the seat itself?

I might have this figured out before I get answers. So hopefully this will at least be valuable to others someday!

All went well! I was able to mostly use long lock-ties to attach the gerbing cables at the start to other existing cables that run along the bottom of the fairing. Towards the long black piece that runs below the seat I used some lock-ties holders with sticky backs where you insert the ties.
