Strengthen the ignition mounting casting

Has anyone got any idea's on how to strenghten the ignition mounting to prevent the bike being stolen so easily. I notice the key does not have a transponder embedded in the key head making it very easy to start and ride away.
Somebody must have come across this??

Spot on, that's how it came to my attention. I have seen lots CBR Honda's stolen in the same way. I will not get too involved here, but under the loop casting there is a couple of screws that retain the entire ignition barrel. I was really enquiring if there was an after market fix already available ??

Not that I'm aware of (but, that doesn't mean much). I'm sure a hidden fuel cutoff would obviate that problem, or wire in a hidden 'kill switch' sort of thing. When I was delivering cars, I saw a few from the LA area with hidden cutoffs in various places around the interior, I'm sure that something similar would work for this bike. Hell, maybe an automotive cylinder would fit, that's outside of my area of expertise, tho.

Guess I should have been wearing pants...
