Talking Madstad + Windstrom = Perfect!

Just want to give a big THANK YOU to Jack at Madstad for helping with my bike this morning and getting me fixed up with the bracket. It helped tremendously. I actually was able to find several positions that worked and didn't beat my brains out. Here is what I found so far, remember I'm a short dude as well.

With the bracket in the first position I can tilt it about 3/4 of the way down and get lots of air and almost no buffeting, it's comfortable and on hot days will be great.

But I'm not one to leave well enough alone. I started to play with it while riding to see where it worked better and blocked more wind (its a bit chilly here but not bad). ANd found that at the very top tilted all the way up it was great if I ducked just a tick, so I raised it to position 2, tilted it all the way forward and all the way up and I sit right behind the screen and look thru it like you would on a cruiser, There is almost Zero buffeting on my helmet at 75-80mph just a slight breeze behind the screen and really comfy.

I installed the handguards today and what a difference in the wind on my hands and how much less buffeting on my arms.

So overall for cold riding and sitting behind the screen it's position 2 tilted all the way up and lifted all the way up and for warm it's position 1 leaned back about 3/4 and about 1/2 way up. That's what I have been able to discover so far I'm sure there's more and of course I'm going to keep tinkering.

Thanks again to Madstad!
