I have a Russell Day Long on my FJR and just love it. 1000 plus miles days no problem. But I wanted a little different look on the Wee. So I arrange a mail in as I had no time to ride in. Got a build date, sent it in and in a week got the seat back. What a beautiful job they did. Feel great, looks great and I gain some reach to the ground. Just enough to deep from standing on my tippy toes. Really looks good on the bike. Will post pics soon. Mike in Fremont, Ca.

$399 in vinyl and shipping. I chose vinyl over leather, another $150, because of the ease to keep it up and weather. I had my seat made smooth for extra duabiltiy from water. The more stitching and pores the more water gets to the foam. I have had leather seats before but I ride with textile pants and noticed no difference. Russell is definitely the choice of LD riders but Bill Mayer is gaining in popularity. I have some friends who ride Iron butt events with Bill Mayer saddles and swear by them.
Awesome Mike! I cannot wait to see the pics. I have owned Russell Day Long saddles and completely agree on the comfort factor. I really want to hear how you feel the Bill Mayer stacks up to the Russell.
