Tire hugger

Has anyone used the fiberglass tire hugger that AMotostuff sells? Not going to be doing any off-roading so not worried about potential problems in the dirt. Just wondering how well it works with road spray and if you have had any problems, quality issues, etc.

Thanks in advance,

I put the Piramid plastics Rear Hugger on my DL1000 and first thin i noticed is when you ride in the rain it washes onto the chain. Chain life is way down cant keep lube on it.... I emailed Piramid Plastics on this issue and they basically told me to **ss off....
