Cortech mini is used by alot of people. It looks rather plain but functions very well. Below are two different angles of it on my bike.

So will a regular old fashioned strap type of bag work on the Strom tank?
I've got on old TourMaster expandable tank bag I'm hoping will work on my new (to me) '05 Strom.

Hey T, yes they will. You have to get a little creative with the strap location. I use an Eclipse bag that I have had since the mid '70s. I looped a piece of webbing under the tank bracket in the rear and looped across the steering head an looped around the tank mounts on each side. Need any pics, let me know.

Joe Rocket Manta.
Small, inexpensive, very functional,
and comes with a rain cover.

Garage
I have it and don't like it. The bag is too small and the waterproof cover fills with air and tries to blow off. I also pictured bad things happening to the family jewels if I killed a deer with the tank bag off. It's tres expensive to boot but I hadn't done my research before buying.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
