Steering dampner/stabilizer?

Does anybody know of any options for a steering dampner/stabilizer that is usable on the strom? I have seen some on e-bay for ~$30 and wouldn't mind having one mounted just in case. I know lots of the sportbikes have them standard, would one like those fit?

I know Scotts makes one. I have it and I think its well worth the money.

If you have more than one bike you can switch the damper among them as long as they have a mount kit for it.

Garage
I got off at high speed due to a tank slapper for going too fast with full luggage. I don't even have my new bike and I bought a Scotts steering stabilizer online when my arm was still in a sling. It's expensive but going down costs a heck of a lot more. No more seeing how fast my bike will go will help too.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Yeah, that's why I was looking into one. Never had mine wobble but I really don't want that experience. I have thought about raising the forks to help some, but figured a stabilizer would be a better bet. Not for $500 though. Has anyone been able to fit a "regular" one?

Just wondering, would a stabalizer be of any real value if one does not ride to extremes ??
